I think fortnite is better imo just bc of these reasons. ?

Let’s be honest here....

Roblox is a platform made up of many games. Half the games on the front page are simulators. Roblox is not a family friendly game platform. Its a platform to make money off of kids. Simulators are extremely easy to make. It takes minimal scripting experience, 1–2 month, to learn all the mechanics in order to create one.

Roblox brews toxicity. A majority of its users are 5–10 year older kids. And we all know when groups of kids are brought together, it takes just one jackass to start the domino effect. It spread toxic influence. Most kids are naive enough to fall under the influence of pity manipulation tactics. There are tons of little narcs that are either online trolls, or devaluing and insulting others for the fun of it. Basically a absolute fucking hell. You do not want your kids on there because the system and atmosphere is highly toxic. The danger is that the non-toxic kids could be incorporated into the rules and system of child-narcs, leading the non-toxic kids to either defend themselves or fight back utilizing the same narcissistic tactics. The narc -behind screen system always wins since most kids are not wise enough to call the system bullshit.

If you take a peek at the front page … do so at your own pearl… the most popular games on roblox are role playing ones and simulators.

What are simulators games? Brain dead clicking games designed to hook naive kids that requires minimal whatsoever stimulation. Simulators is designed to entrap younger population on Roblox and make money off them

And the other evil… RolePlaying games. Better versions of simulators except you role play. Don’t get me wrong; Indeed some of these types are better than others. Some of these games have additional perks added so it doesn’t feel like your sitting on a bench in a virtual park eating a virtual ice cream. But most of these are added to squeeze the max profit off players.

A lot of the games on front page is designed specifically to make money by targeting the younger population on the platform. If you have any experience with scripting, you will realize just how easy it is to make some of the popular games on Roblox. Few Roblox developers actually put the time and effort to make a game for the sake of making a game. Games such as murder mystery.. I say games because there are more than one of these shitty games on the front pages competing because some developers decided that they want to make money off 5 year old kids. Furthermore most popular games are derived from an archetype of previous successful games with the same shitty graphic, simple designs, and mechanics.

Now imagine this… If you seperate the games on the front page e.g. Adopt Me into separate games from Roblox, I have no doubt that it would not get even one player on its platform. Despite this, Adopt Me is the most played game on Roblox. What do you do in this game? You either role play as a newborn or adopt a baby by role playing as an adult. To add to this, you can buy houses, cars, food, and other utilities to take care of your adopted newborn and receive pay checks… And that all there is to it. WTF.

I honestly can not fathom why roblox is still played. Through child manipulation probably. Most players leave roblox when they are old enough to realize the scheming and money grab system behind 90% of the games. Roblox is a pay2win game. At least most of the games are

The answer is: I don’t know. Fortnite does have a team of professionals (And a large one at that) working behind it, so of course it’s going to get more updates and content. ROBLOX is totally subjective. Some people love it. Some people hate it. Some people don’t care, and some people think it’s for “a bunch of eight year olds” as my old friend so nicely put it. I’m personally with the former. ROBLOX is like a dream come true to me, albeit not for the games that exist. It offers me a way to develop and polish my coding skills, making friends and (If I get lucky, which I won’t because I’m a terrible developer) maybe even some real money.

ROBLOX has much more variety. If you want a game, it’s probably got a clone on ROBLOX. If you want an original game, chances are you can find it. ROBLOX has a good sense of community (It’s what the developers were going for before the money-making schemes got in the way) but I still like it. It’s my introduction to online gaming (The only games I played beforehand being the classic Sonic the Hedgehog games, as in Sonic, Sonic 2 and Sonic 3&K) so I suppose I do have a soft spot for it.

Fortnite, however, is much more polished than the average ROBLOX game. Being made by a team of professionals that use an engine much more dedicated to their type of game, it’s no wonder it has more potential than most games. However, you can’t find a space simulator using Fortnite. Also, Fortnite’s community is absolutely terrible, and I wish I could express my true feelings but I don’t want to have to leave a warning at the top of the page indicating that there’s ‘violent cursing for most of the third-to-last paragraph’

They are both free though, so besides from hard disk space, there’s really absolutely zero harm in downloading them both and playing to your heart’s content.

TL;DR: If you’re only in it for Fortnite, get Fortnite. If you want a larger variety of games and don’t mind the bugs, use ROBLOX.
